WHO
We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking volunteers who:

Want to make a tangible difference defragmenting our prairie ecosystem

Are active and can walk several miles, while carrying 10-30 pound loads
WHAT
Remove barbed wire fence on the prairie to support wildlife migration and create less fragmented lands. This work could include:

Pulling out fence posts and rolling up wire

Walking fence line and carrying tools
-
Exploring and learning about the prairie biome
Dinners and lodging (campground or rooms at the Enrico Education and Science Center on the Sun Prairie property) will be provided.
WHERE
Sun Prairie and/or White Rock units in northeastern Montana.
WHEN
Two different sessions are planned.

One 5-day volunteer trip, taking place June 23rd – 27th (Monday – Friday).
