Appropriate dress is required in the Club’s public rooms at all times. Members, guests, and visitors are expected to respect the Dress Code. Appropriate attire for ladies shall include suits, dresses, skirts or pants with jackets or elegant sweaters, or equivalent formality to the coats and ties that are required for gentlemen. Casual slacks, jeans, and athletic attire are not considered appropriate.
ELECTRONICS POLICY
Electronic devices must be silenced. No electronic devices, including cellular phones, may be used in the Club’s public rooms. Electronic voice communication may be used only in the telephone booth, Members’ Room, Club bedrooms, and closed-door meetings. Silenced electronic devices may be used briefly in the telephone booth and the First Floor Ladies’ Lounge to arrange transportation and parking. Computers and e-Readers may be used only during meetings and book groups as well as in the Members’ Room and in Club bedrooms. Picture taking is permitted for personal use only. It may not capture others without their consent and should be unobtrusive. Photos on devices may be viewed discreetly. In all other situations, electronics shall not be in view.
SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
Publicity about the Club or identification of the Club by name or geographic location is not permitted on any social media platform. This social media prohibition includes geotagging or using a hashtag or @ with the Club’s name in the comments field.

Ken Burns has been making documentary films for almost 50 years. Since the Academy Award®-nominated Brooklyn Bridge in 1981, Ken has gone on to direct and produce some of the most acclaimed historical documentaries ever made, including The Civil War; Baseball; Jazz; The War; The National Parks: America’s Best Idea; Prohibition; The Roosevelts: An Intimate History; The Vietnam War; Country Music; The U.S. and the Holocaust; The American Buffalo; and, most recently, Leonardo da Vinci.
Future film projects include The American Revolution, Emancipation to Exodus, and LBJ & the Great Society, among others.
Ken’s films have been honored with dozens of major awards, including 17 Emmy® Awards, two GRAMMY Awards®, and two Oscar® nominations. In September of 2008, at the News & Documentary Emmy Awards, Ken was honored by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with a Lifetime Achievement Award. In November of 2022, Ken was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame.

A seasoned technology and impact executive, Bill Hilf's career spans more than 20 years leading complex business, product development, and philanthropic initiatives for global organizations such as Microsoft, HP, and IBM as well as a variety of start-ups in Silicon Valley and beyond.
Bill serves as board chair of the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2), is a board member for Woodland Park Zoo, and sits on the advisory board for Humanity 2.0. In addition, he is on the board of Grumeti Fund, dedicated to the conservation of the Serengeti, and serves as an advisor to X4Impact, a leading data insights and advisory services company for social innovation in the U.S. He is also founder of High Five Hope, a nonprofit to help homeless children experience greater confidence, leadership, and hope through the power of sports.
Bill completed his undergraduate studies at California State University-Fullerton and received his master’s degree from Chapman University.

Alison Fox is the CEO of American Prairie. She has led the organization as CEO since February 2018 and had various leadership and management roles with the organization since 2007, including communications, marketing and branding, institutional partnerships and philanthropy. Alison holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, where she focused on marketing and nonprofit management, and a BA in History from Dartmouth College. She is a member of the Big Sky Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, Inc. (YPO) and the Advisory Board of William & Mary’s Institute for Integrative Conservation.
