ABOUT

BISON

American Prairie is a non-profit conservation organization working to connect, conserve, and share more than 3 million acres of Montana's Northern Great Plains.

Bison play a huge role in the prairie ecosystem, making our conservation herd of over 900 bison an important component of our work to conserve one of the last remaining shortgrass prairies in the world.

Support our bison conservation work with a gift of $70 or more, and we'll send you a commemorative hat!
